Prosthetic Process

Our prosthetic care process is designed to be thorough, compassionate, and effective. We work with you every step of the way to ensure you receive a device that helps you achieve your goals.

Step 1Authorization

We will assist you in your authorization process with insurance. Patients can receive their prosthesis within a month.

Step 2Evaluation and Casting

The prosthetist(s) starts the process by gathering basic information such as what you would like to do (daily activities). You will also have your residual limb scanned or casted for a socket.

Step 3Check Socket

After casting a follow up appointment is made to fit the first test socket on your residual limb.

Step 4Check Socket #2

If needed, you will need to be fit with a second check socket to ensure that the fit is 100%.

Step 5Final Prosthesis

Once the fit is perfected, you will receive your final custom prosthesis designed specifically for your lifestyle.
